Shilajit Extraction Plant Manufacturer in Zimbabwe

Raw shilajit does not come from Zimbabwe. It comes down from the Himalayan belt and from Central Asia, so a processor here is buying crude resin and adding the purification, concentration and packing value locally instead of importing finished jars. That is a narrower business than a turmeric or tobacco line and worth sizing honestly before you commit capital. What makes the investment work for most Zimbabwean units is that the same machine is an aqua extraction and vacuum concentration line, so it also handles the botanicals the country does have, including baobab, moringa, devil's claw and zumbani.

Two kinds of buyer order this plant. A small supplement unit wants a clean, simple aqua extraction line it can run with two operators. An export or contract manufacturer wants batch records, heavy metal control and a repeatable fulvic acid number on every certificate of analysis. As the manufacturer of this shilajit extraction plant in Zimbabwe, Mecha Engineering sizes the extractor, filtration train and concentration stage around whichever of the two you are, then fabricates it at our own works in Saharanpur, India. The standard build runs on a 415 V, 50 Hz three phase supply, which matches Zimbabwean site power.

  • Actives survive the process. The whole line is built to stay below the temperature at which fulvic acid and the mineral fraction start to degrade.
  • Engineers who travel. Commissioning, the first resin batch and operator training happen on your floor in Zimbabwe, with remote support for the maintenance team afterwards.
  • Audit ready paperwork. MOC certificates, GA drawings, weld and polish records and IQ or OQ documents travel with the plant for regulated and export buyer audits.
  • A spares kit in the container. Gaskets, filter media, sight glasses and vacuum fittings are packed with the plant, so the first service does not wait on a fresh shipment.

Build features

Features of Mecha Engineering Shilajit Extraction Plants:

Every feature below exists to protect one of two things: the bioactive fraction in your raw material, or the hours your operator spends on a batch.

01

Advanced Filtration System

Multi-stage filtration separates sand, rock grit and insoluble matter from the dissolved fraction, so what reaches the concentration stage is clean enough for pharmaceutical grade output rather than needing a second correction pass.

02

Temperature-Controlled Processing

Jacketed heating with a PT100 sensor in the liquid holds the set point through the whole extraction cycle. Fulvic acid, humic fraction and the mineral content keep their profile instead of degrading at the vessel wall.

03

High Yield Efficiency

Staged soaking, controlled agitation and a second wash on the residue pull the maximum resin out of the raw material with minimal waste. Less raw shilajit per kilo of finished resin is where the return on the plant shows up.

04

Fully Automated Workflow

Programmable controls handle extraction timing, temperature ramps and safety interlocks, with batch logging on the HMI. Batch to batch consistency stops depending on which operator is on shift.

05

Vacuum Concentration Without Heat Damage

Water is pulled off under vacuum at a low boiling point, so the extract thickens to resin consistency without ever seeing the temperature that flat evaporation would need.

06

Hygienic and Cleanable Build

Internal 220 grit mirror finish, coved corners, CIP spray ball and a bottom flush outlet. Changeover and washdown are a short job rather than a shift, which matters on a multi-product floor.

Choosing a configuration

Which Shilajit Line Fits your Zimbabwean Unit?

The output form and the buyer's specification decide the plant, not the other way around. This is the shortlist we work through with a Zimbabwean buyer on the first call.

How the plant runs

The Shilajit Extraction Cycle, Step by Step

Six stages from raw exudate to finished resin or powder. Your operator sees the same sequence on every batch, which is what keeps the output consistent.

01

Raw Material Sorting

Incoming raw shilajit is graded, loose rock and visible foreign matter are removed, and the lot is broken down so it dissolves evenly instead of in lumps.

02

Charging and Soaking

Material goes into the extraction vessel with measured purified water. The soak runs to a set ratio and time so every batch starts from the same baseline.

03

Controlled Temperature Extraction

Jacket heating holds the batch at the low set point while the agitator keeps the solids in suspension. The soluble fraction goes into the water, the rock does not.

04

Multi-Stage Filtration

The liquid passes through basket, bag and fine filtration in sequence. Grit, sand and insoluble matter drop out stage by stage rather than all at once.

05

Vacuum Concentration

Water is removed under vacuum at low temperature until the extract reaches resin consistency. Condensate collects in the receiver and is drained off.

06

Finishing and Packing

Output is held at the target moisture and filled as resin, or sent forward to the spray dryer where a free flowing powder is required.

Where these plants are used

Application Areas of Shilajit Extraction Plants:

Supplement and Capsule Makers

Capsule, tablet and sachet producers needing a declared fulvic acid figure and a repeatable assay batch after batch, usually with PLC batch logging.

Retail Resin Brands

Units packing resin into jars for the domestic and regional wellness trade, where consistent viscosity and a clean mouthfeel decide repeat sales.

Herbal and Botanical Processors

The same aqua extraction and concentration line run on baobab, moringa, devil's claw and zumbani, which is how most Zimbabwean units keep the plant busy.

Contract Manufacturers and Exporters

Multi-product units supplying buyers whose own regulator audits the process, so batch records and heavy metal control are specified alongside the equipment.

Cosmetic and Personal Care

Botanical extracts and concentrates for creams, balms and serums, produced at low temperature so colour and actives survive.

Laboratories and Pilot Units

Development departments and new entrants proving a recipe on a 100 or 250 litre line before committing to a commercial vessel.

Questions we are asked

Shilajit Extraction Plants in Zimbabwe: FAQs

Straight answers to what Zimbabwean buyers ask before placing an order.

Who manufactures shilajit extraction plants for Zimbabwe?

Mecha Engineering Pvt. Ltd. designs and fabricates shilajit extraction plants at its own works at Village Meharbani on Behat Road, Saharanpur, India. The company was set up in 2022 and supplies extraction, filtration, concentration and drying equipment to supplement, herbal, botanical and export units in Zimbabwe, across India and in other overseas markets.

Where does the raw shilajit come from, and can I source it in Zimbabwe?

Raw shilajit is a Himalayan and Central Asian material, so a Zimbabwean processor imports the crude resin rather than sourcing it locally. That is worth settling before you buy a plant, because the economics depend on your landed cost per kilogram of raw resin and on the volume you can reliably import. We will size a line for whatever quantity you can secure, and we will tell you honestly if the volume is too small to justify a commercial vessel.

Can the same plant run other botanicals?

Yes, and most Zimbabwean units plan on it. The machine is an aqua extraction, filtration and vacuum concentration line, so it also handles baobab, moringa, devil's claw, zumbani and other water soluble botanicals. Running more than one product is usually what makes the investment work here, so tell us the full list and we will specify the changeover and cleaning arrangement around it.

What capacity range can you supply?

Vessels run from 100 litres for pilot and development work up to 5,000 litres for commercial lines, with multi-vessel batteries where continuous operation is needed. Tell us the kilograms of raw material you want to process in a batch and the output form you sell, and we work backwards to the vessel size and the number of batches per shift.

How do you protect fulvic acid and the mineral fraction?

By keeping the temperature down at every stage. Jacketed heating with a sensor in the liquid holds the extraction set point, and the concentration stage runs under vacuum so water leaves at a low boiling point rather than through an open boil. The line is specified so the material never sees the temperature at which the bioactive fraction starts to degrade.

What does the filtration train actually remove?

Sand, rock grit and insoluble matter, in stages. A coarse basket takes the bulk out, a bag or sparkler filter takes the fines, and a cartridge or membrane stage is added where a buyer specifies clarity. This is the section that decides whether your output passes a purity check, so it is worth specifying against the complaint you are trying to avoid rather than buying the minimum.

Can you supply a powder line as well as resin?

Yes. The resin line ends at a thick concentrate at controlled moisture. Adding a spray dryer, with or without a carrier, gives a free flowing powder for capsules, tablets and sachets. Most units start with the resin line and add the dryer once capsule volumes justify it.

Will the plant run on Zimbabwean power and utilities?

Yes. The build is wired for a 415 V, 50 Hz three phase supply, which matches Zimbabwean site power. Heating runs on steam, hot water or electric elements depending on what you have on the floor, and the standard water ring vacuum pump needs a water supply, so where water is scarce we quote a closed loop tank or an oil sealed pump instead.

Is installation and commissioning included for Zimbabwe sites?

Erection, piping tie-in, utility connection, the water trial, the first resin batch and operator training at your Zimbabwe site are quoted inside the supply scope. Our engineers travel for commissioning and back your team afterwards with drawings, video support and a planned spares schedule.

What documentation is provided for regulated and export audits?

Standard handover covers the general arrangement drawing, material of construction certificates, hydro and vacuum test reports, weld and polish records, the operating and maintenance manual and a spare parts list. DQ, IQ and OQ protocols, along with a validation document set, are prepared on request.

How long does delivery take, and how is the plant shipped?

Standard lines are ready in 4 to 8 weeks from order confirmation, and automated or multi-vessel plants in 10 to 12 weeks. Allow a further 4 to 6 weeks for sea freight and inland haulage. A pilot or small resin line crates small enough to consolidate with other equipment in a shared container, which is worth planning if you are ordering more than one machine.

How do I get a price, and do you quote CIF?

Call +91-9084351006 or +91-7500378000, send a WhatsApp message, or email info@mechaengg.com with the raw material you will process, the batch size in kilograms, the output form you sell and the specification your buyer audits. We quote ex works India and on a CIF Durban or CIF Beira basis.
